Galaxy S7 Active: Coming to Android 7.0 Nougat

As most of you know, Samsung has been planning to update its flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, to Android 7.0 Nougat software. However, the giant encountered some issues during the process that forced it to pause the installation for a few more days.Android

Samsung is not the only manufacturing company facing installation problems with Nougat as Sony, ZTE and HTC have also halted installation due to unforeseen issues.

According to a recent SamMobile report, photos have leaked showing the Galaxy S7 Active running on 7.0 Nougat while it has already received WiFi certification. This means that the Galaxy S7 Active is likely to be Samsung's next smartphone to run on.

However, AT & T offers the Galaxy S7 Active currently exclusively to its customers, which means that the installation will be delayed longer’ than we thought. Logically, AT & T this time wants to conduct further tests to ensure that the installation will be completed successfully. We should note that unlocked smartphones receive updates faster than the units offered through shipments.

Since Samsung has completed the installation of 7.0 Nougat on the devices released in 2016, it continues on the rest. Specifically, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A8 are rumored to receive the update by June 2017. So all we can do is wait!
