Maps App Discovery is an application that allows you to access Google Maps directly from Windows 10 in a more direct way than with browsers.
According to the app description published in the Windows Store, Maps App Discovery uses the “Google Maps API.” At first glance, most features work smoothly, but the app becomes rather slow at times, especially when searching for an address. Additionally, it sometimes finds the wrong locations, but after a refresh click it immediately gave us the correct one.
There's also Street View, which lets you see streets from your desktop, as well as support for directions to find the best route to your destination. You can also add locations to favorites, save your last location, and use a dark theme.
