Apple, at its "Let Us Loop You In" event today, also introduced the new mobile operating system iOS 9.3, which is already available for download as an OTA (Over-the-Air) update for all supported iPhone, iPad and iPod devices.
The first and best feature of iOS 9.3 is Night Shift, and it will be available as a shortcut for quick access, in Control Center, as well as in Settings, under the Display & Brightness setting. The feature is designed to dim the light on your device, helping you sleep better at night.
In Control Center now, all the icons have been refreshed, and they look slightly better than in iOS 9.2.
The second big feature of iOS 9.3 is fingerprint and password support for your notes, in the Notes app.
On the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, iOS 9.3 brings some minor changes to 3D Touch shortcuts. Among other features implemented in iOS 9.3, we can mention various improvements to the News and Health apps, as well as for CarPlay.
Finally, iOS 9.3 fixes several bugs, most notably a zero-day in the iMessage app that could have let hackers decrypt photos and videos.
To update to iOS 9.3, open the Settings app, General, Software Update.
