Philips Monitor Stand and Universal Docking Station in One

MMD brandlicense partner of Philips Displays, announces an all-in-one convenience solution for all offices.

With the all-new Philips USB Dock, users simply connect their laptop via a USB cable and place the VESA-compliant display of their choice in its place. The result: easy access to all office peripherals and the Internet via a high-speed USB 3.0 connection. Combined with a Philips display, the dock combines the benefits of productivity and convenience with an excellent viewing experience.

Philips

• Compatible with 19 to 28 inch VESA-compliant monitors
• Built-in Ethernet for Internet connectivity
• USB 3.0 hub gives laptops direct access to office peripherals with a single cable

More connections, less cable clutter

The all-new Philips SB4B1928UB USB Docking Station consists of a stylish, ergonomic stand to which users can attach a new Philips display of their choice, or an existing display that is VESA compatible (100 x 100 hole pattern). Supporting 19 to 28 inch (48 to 71 cm) displays, the new docking station gives users greater flexibility in choosing (and switching) displays.
The stand is ideal for the latest ultra-thin notebook models chosen by professionals who are constantly on the move and work in multiple locations. Compensating for the biggest drawback of lighter and thinner notebooks – the limited choice of connections – the new docking station provides built-in USB 3.0 hub and Ethernet. “Users can simply plug in and get straight to work,” says Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD. “And they don’t have to deal with messy cables in their office either. Thanks to universal USB compatibility, the new dock works with any laptop that has a USB port. It gives users the ability to instantly connect to office peripherals, the Internet and power with a single cable.”

Expanding the viewing experience

The dock gives users the freedom to choose the screen size, resolution and technology that best suits their applications – up to the dazzling clarity of 4K UHD high-resolution at 3840 x 2160 pixels. And if one display isn’t enough, users can connect up to six displays to the dock via HDMI, DisplayPort and USB – all with just one USB cable between the dock and the laptop. This is an easy way to create a multi-display workspace for increased productivity without the clutter of cables.

Focus on the well-being of the office worker

Despite its all-in-one simplicity, there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to the design of the new Philips Docking Station. With the Philips SmartErgoBase design, the stand can be raised or lowered, tilted and rotated to position the monitor in exactly the right position for the user. The low height between the frame and the furniture ensures maximum reading comfort, especially for those who wear bifocals, trifocals or progressive lenses. And while the stand eliminates desk clutter thanks to its single USB cable connection, it also features additional cable management features to keep your workspace tidy.

The new Philips SB4B1928UB USB Docking Station is already available at a price of €179.
