Although we don't understand the selfie craze, we have to report it. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy J5 and J7 in China, two new smartphones that are specifically made for selfies. The interesting thing about the two new devices is not only the 5-megapixel front camera, but also the fact that they are accompanied by an LED flash.

Both devices are equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture, which can help with taking photos in low-light situations.
Beyond the above general features, the Galaxy J5's specifications include a 5-inch 720p (1280x720) TFT LCD display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and 16 GB of storage (the storage is expandable to 128 GB via microSD).
The device has 1.5 GB of RAM, a 2,600 mAh battery, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, is 4G and has dual-SIM.

The Galaxy J7, on the other hand, has similar features to the J5, but differs slightly in screen size, processor, and battery.
Its screen is 5.5-inch with 720p resolution (1280×720), it has a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, and a 3000 mAh battery, which offers at least 354 hours of standby time.
The Galaxy J5 is priced at $225, while the J7 will cost you $289.
The devices are available starting today in China, and there is no information on whether the company plans to release them in other markets.
