While Microsoft is reportedly working feverishly on the new Edge browser, new information continues to arrive.
In a Twitter Q&A session, the Edge confirmed that the new browser will support syncing of bookmarks, passwords, history, and tabs, just like Firefox syncing does.
The developers did not give a specific release date for the new feature, but did say it will come with a future update.
The announcement probably shouldn't come as a surprise, as Edge appears to be very similar to competing browsers Firefox and Chrome.
The new feature is very convenient for anyone who has multiple Windows devices, such as phones and Xbox One. Syncing will allow you to not lose your data, since you will be able to automatically transfer to each device.
While Edge is still under development, we can probably expect to see more attractive features arriving later this year.
One such feature, in addition to synchronization, will be extensions, which will come to the new browser towards the end of the summer or early fall.
