And a built-in Time Zone Converter from Google. Starting today, you can use Google to quickly convert one time to another time zone. It's been a long-awaited feature, and it's finally here. Starting today, you can quickly convert times in your computer browser or in Google's mobile apps using Google Search.
The time conversion command should contain the definition of the desired zone in abbreviation, for example PDT, or the full name, such as Pacific Daylight. Alternatively, you can even define the zone by the name of the location, instead of using the time zones. Here are some examples.
- 11 am Central PDT
- convert 5 pm EST to PDT
- 8:30 pm Athens in New York
- 3 am in New York what's thw time in Athens
- 10 pm Greenwich time to eastern time
Google was obviously not the first with this feature. DuckDuckGo and Wolfram Alpha have long offered built-in time zone converters, but better late than never.
