TogetherJS collaboration features on your site with one line of code

Tools like Google Docs include real-time collaboration features that allow multiple users to work on the same document at the same time. There are also screen sharing tools, like join.me or Chrome Remote Desktop for example.
library TogetherJS.

Real-time Site Chat

TogetherJS is a Mozilla project that will add such collaboration capabilities to the website, with almost no coding. Once enabled, visitors to your website will be able to interact with each other on your website in real time.

You will be able to see each other's cursor (like in Google Docs), highlight clicks, and screen content stays in sync. Website visitors will also be able to have text and audio chats (using WebRTC) with any other visitor currently on your website. All this and more with just one line of code.

Add TogetherJS to your website

To get started, all you have to do is place a line of JavaScript anywhere on your site. There are several configuration parameters available in the widget, but we will use the default settings to make it easy for you.

<script> TogetherJSConfig_autoStart = true; </script> <script src="https://togetherjs.com/togetherjs-min.js"></script>

The above code will add a small widget to your website that will appear in its own window to all your visitors. They can click the “+” button on the widget to create a unique TogetherJS URL. Anyone who clicks on this URL will be able to interact with each other on your page in real time. It’s that simple

Add TogetherJS to Every Website

There's more. You can add TogetherJS features to any web page on the internet with the help of a bookmarklet.

[su_box title=”TogetherJS Bookmarklet” box_color=”#023099″ radius=”1″]javascript:(function(e,t,n){var%20r=function(){var%20t=function(e){e=e||10;var%20t='abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV0123456789′;var%20r=for(var%20r=0);

 This bookmarklet will load the TogetherJS library on the current web page and you can give your chat a unique name. If someone else runs the bookmarklet on the same page from their own computer, and types in the same session name, you will be instantly connected.

You can browse together, follow each other's activities, or chat at the top of the page.
