Posting selfies on social media may seem silly or completely pointless to some. For Triana Lavey, a PR director in Los Angeles, a good selfie allows you to rediscover yourself every day.

So Lavey believes she paid $15,000 to a plastic surgeon to get the perfect selfie face: a face that would look like it was Photoshopped, the face she always wanted but never had.
ABC even followed her into the operating room and released the video below.
“To me, plastic surgery should be a last resort. After you’ve tried everything else, after you’ve been disciplined with your diet and exercise, then you can go for surgery,” Lavey advises before entering the operating room.
These are options. Lavey probably didn't want the free apps available that would allow her to remove all the imperfections from the photo she wanted to post, because she needed a strong dose of self-esteem..
