Avira has just announced that it has released a new antivirus app for Android devices, which replaces the old Avira 3.0
The new version of Avira has been completely redesigned and have been included . New updates are delivered in xVDF format and virus detection coverage has been drastically improved.
The application now automatically scans your phone immediately after the initial setup (animated graphics display) and, according to the developers, supports profile names and photos.
The “Remote Scream” feature has been renamed to “Remote Yell” and users will now be able to “Yell” and “Locate” from within the app. The “blacklist” has also been simplified.
You can now download Avira 3.1 for Android for free via the Google Play Store.
Please note that version 3.1 is fully compatible with most devices running Android 2.2 and above.
