As they had promised earlier in their tweet that they were not finished with their attack on Microsoft , they had attacked another Microsoft- owned website . This time, the target is the official Microsoft Office blog.
“We’re not done attacking @Microsoft yet, stay tuned for more! #SEA” was posted in one of their previous tweets.
Hackers published a screenshot showing that they managed to place articles titled “Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army” on blogs.office.com.
They also said in their tweet that Microsoft can expect more attacks from the SEA group. The hackers also posted images showing that they have gained access to the Office blog dashboard.
“Dear @Microsoft, changing your CMS won’t help you if your employees are hacked and don’t know about it. #SEA” reads the latest tweet from SEA. The latest attack is part of a series of attacks against Microsoft, which began with the hacking of the Skype blog and Twitter account. This was followed by the hijacking of the Xbox Twitter account, the Microsoft News Twitter account, and the official Microsoft blog.
