Microsoft has been forced by the European Union to provide in its Windows operating systems , but perhaps in the near future it could give users the option to choose another operating system.
A very interesting photo making the rounds on Google Plus shows a Windows 8 notification regarding the end of the Evaluation version and the prompt to uninstall it.
Someone modified the image so that the options for the user are “Get Windows”, “Shut Down”, and “Get Ubuntu”.
This is actually half-serious half-joke, because a new major Ubuntu version is scheduled to be released in April with the prospect of users seeing it as a replacement for Windows.
Humor or not, you can always download the latest version of Ubuntu for free and rest assured that as an operating system it is much more secure.
