Google Play added something called Chromecast to its "About Devices" page, which promptly disappeared.
This new device, which no one knows why it was introduced, was below the list of all the phones and Chromebooks.
Speculation, of course, was quick to suggest that Chromecast is something similar to Apple TV, while others say it is a custom web portal for connecting to high-definition TV devices.
However, there is no way to know exactly what it was since the link disappeared.
Finally, Google has announced a planned event on Wednesday (31.07) and the new device could be on the list of new products.
Hopefully we'll know more details soon.
