Breaking boundaries has always been one of the things we love to see, but sometimes things can go both ways, and the following is a good example.
Graphic designer Beom Young has introduced a series of rather unusual wall decorations. And by unusual, we mean images that have been adapted into portraits and wall frames that evoke no emotion but only frustration and anger in the common man.
We are referring to the image icons that sometimes appear on websites that fail to load some images for whatever reason (broken photo icon).
“Through this creation, I tried to break the boundaries between them by transferring the symbol from one world to another. I wonder how people will react to the icons of broken photos on real material,” Beom explains. “Will they feel emptiness when they imagine the missing images, emphasizing the original information, or will they accept them as just small images?” See more from Beom Young if you feel like you have the time.
