They stole photos and other files from his phone via iCloud..
Lakis Lazopoulos fell victim to a malicious attack and theft of his personal data.
The Greek actor's case is similar to that of Jennifer Lawrence, since someone had extracted and transferred all of his files to a random account via iCloud.
"My details were found - fortunately a large part of the photos and a part of my agenda - in the account of an unrelated person. It was a businessman, who when he suddenly opened his account and saw my phone book was surprised. So, at that time, I had gone to the Electronic Crimes Prosecution, while through my lawyers I had come into contact with Apple in Greece and America," Mr. Lazopoulos tells "Proto Thema", who, as he admits, is speaking for the first time about his personal adventure and the dangers that the internet hides.
As the actor explains, "someone took all my files through iCloud and funneled them into an unrelated person's account. And he called me, told me that 'I found your phones and some photos'. At first I didn't understand exactly what had happened. But along the way I realized that this was an honest person who suddenly opened his account and saw my own data. Eventually we found out that everything had been stolen through iCloud and today this service is gone from me.".
The actor immediately tried to take legal action and find out what had happened. “Through my lawyers, I got in touch with Apple America and they were the ones who guided us to find out exactly what had happened,” he explains. “The case was closed when I secured myself and closed all exit and danger gates6 […] As it turned out, however, it was not an error on Apple’s part, but a malicious attack in an attempt to get my information. This is common,” says Mr. Lazopoulos.
