Apple strengthens iCloud security

iCloudIt was only a matter of days before Apple made statements regarding the issue surrounding celebrity iCloud accounts that were allegedly hacked.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Tim Cook revealed that Apple will add new security measures to iCloud in the coming weeks.

Users will be notified via email and push notifications about account activity and whether someone has accessed their iCloud backup. The two-step verification process will also cover more iCloud services.

The above will start appearing in the coming weeks, which is to be expected since it will also coincide with the long-awaited release of iOS 8.

All notifications will be interactive, as you will be able to immediately contact Apple if you notice anything strange.
