Now you can comment on Facebook posts offline!

Facebook will now let you comment on your posts even when you don't have any network on your phone.

Christmas is approaching, but it seems like it's already raining gifts for Internet users. With Google Maps and the introduction of offline functionality last month, Facebook is now making sure to include offline features to improve the user experience, overcoming any network fluctuations.

Now you can comment on Facebook posts offline!

Thanks to its new gesture, you can now comment on posts even when you're offline. So, the next time you're worried about missing a chance to comment on a post because of a bad network connection, just type your comment and it will automatically post as soon as you're back online.

And there's more. If you have a slow connection, your News Feed will first show you older posts from the last time you logged in, then load any new content. And to go a step further, Facebook will only show posts you haven't previously logged in to, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Additionally, the company aims to keep your News Feed up to date throughout the day by continuously displaying posts while you're online. But that comes with a downside. While this new feature might get you excited, it will cost you more bandwidth and battery life.

In October, Facebook updated its app to detect slow connections and bring you unread posts from your device's memory. Video ads are now presented in a slideshow format that also takes care of 2G speeds.

Facebook 're still waiting for confirmation on when the features will be released globally and whether they'll be limited to the Android app. Until then, its users definitely have something to look forward to.
