G Data, a German security company, offers Android users the brand new and highly secure messaging chat application, SECURE CHAT, for its 30th birthday.
For Secure Chat, the secure multiple-encrypted asynchronous chat protocol, Axolotl, was chosen, which is considered internationally to be practically impossible to hack. The application guarantees the secure exchange of photos, videos and other media. It protects the user's privacy from hackers and cyber eavesdropping.
“In today’s world, personal and business privacy is constantly at risk, coupled with the increasing ability of hackers to exploit and steal data,” said Andy Hayter, security evangelist, G DATA. “We created the SECURE CHAT app with the strongest encryption protocol possible, to give users the ability to communicate with each other without having to worry about the security of their conversations and data.”
When installing G Data Secure Chat, you will be asked to verify your mobile number, and it will use this number to identify you if you want to install it on another device. It sends an SMS to your mobile number, but if it is not correctly identified – you have the option of identifying yourself via voice call.
One of the most important features of G Data Secure Chat is the timer setting so that messages are automatically deleted on both sides, by senders and recipients, a filter for incoming and outgoing messages and SMS, as well as its ability to hide SMS messages from specific contacts.
G DATA SECURE CHAT is available for free in the Google Play store.
