Copenhagen Airport is the first in the world to use Google Glasses, which replace computers, among its staff earlier this month.
The next technological leap, which will take us one step closer to the future, is Google glasses, which replace computers, tablets, and even folders with lots of papers, in order to compile lists or programs.
At least, that's what Copenhagen Airport officials claim, as they piloted a Google Glass program for staff. With the electronic glasses, staff can inform passengers about flight changes or delays, the fate of lost luggage, and even traffic on the roads to and from the airport.
Copenhagen Airport is the first in the world to use Google Glass, and when asked about their impressions, passengers' opinions were mixed, depending on their age. Younger travelers, who recognized the Google Glass worn by airport staff, were positive about its impact and use at the airport, while older passengers seemed unaware of the high-tech glasses.
Pilot Christian Poulsen, who works at the airport, said the airport is now investigating how these glasses can be used effectively to serve customers.
