The scene seems funny. Someone walking around their house shouting "Marco" and from somewhere the cell phone answers "Polo". And yet, an application based on a classic American children's game promises that no one will lose their phone again. Because the user will be able to shout at it and it will respond from wherever they are.
So, the kids, who have been playing "Marco Polo" for years, were the inspiration so that no one would have to desperately search for their cell phone under sofas, inside the car or in the... vastness of a woman's handbag. It is a kind of "hide and seek", since in the game a child closes his eyes and shouts "Marco", while his teammates respond "Polo", in order to locate them in space by voice, without seeing. Just like in the blind search for the missing cell phone.
The app - which is called Marco Polo - costs a dollar and has 30 different voices to choose from to respond to the device when searching for it. Alternatively, the user can record themselves shouting "Polo!" In fact, this convenience does not only apply to iPhones, but also to iPads and iPod Touches.
