Most CMS follow a similar structural and management pattern, which is not friendly to any customizations outside of the established model. Cockpit breaks away from this archetype and provides developers with the tools they need to create custom websites without having to code the same custom structures.
Cockpit offers developers the essential elements for building the data structure in which the content of their web pages is stored.
In addition, a powerful template engine controls the appearance of the site, and modules can also be added to extend built-in functionality.
A recent version of Cockpit is not user-friendly enough, if you don't know what to do, we recommend giving clients access to the final product before configuring and building the website, when things won't be as well organized.
In general, the CMS looks and actually behaves like a modern website tool and is one of the few CMS products created for web professionals and not end users.
You can download Cockpit here, as well as see some screenshots. Cockpit's code is open source and is also available via GitHub.
