Security solutions provider F-Secure has invested in the development of a new service that promises to unify all users' "clouds" in a secure and single location.
Younited users will be able to gather all their files and photos from cloud services such as Dropbox, SkyDrive, Google Drive, Picasa, Flickr, Facebook, Evernote or Office 365, into a single storage service.
According to F-Secure, the new cloud service guarantees the privacy of users and the security of their data, protecting them from the "prying eyes of governments and surveillance programs.".
“Our goal was to create a cloud service that would organize your digital world. We wanted to create something from which no photo, song or video could ever be lost,” explains F-Secure.
“We wanted to create a place where you can organize your stuff, no matter where it comes from – and then share it with the people you love. Even if your device is lost or stolen, your stuff will remain safe.”.
As expected, Younited, which is still in beta, will be available for Windows PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
