It's hard to believe that it's been over three months since the Pixel Watch 3 was released alongside the Pixel 9, and we're now just a few days away from the start of December.

However, before you start preparing for 2025, there's one more chapter in the arrival of Watch 3 that we've been waiting for to be completed — and it's finally happening now.

Like any good smartwatch, Google introduced the Pixel Watch 3 with a rich collection of alternative straps. While many of these were iterations of the Pixel Watch 2, there was also one brand-new option for this generation: the Watch 3's Performance Loop Band. We previously learned that this would be delayed, with a possible release date in October.
During the wait, we got a chance to see some images from an early retail listing, but October came and went without the Performance Loop Band arriving. It seemed likely that the same would happen for November, but the Google Store finally confirmed its release.

The Performance Loop Band is similar in appearance to the old Woven Band, made from recycled woven fabric, but has a thinner texture and new color options. They come in Porcelain, Obsidian, and Peony for each Pixel Watch size, and there are two different Wintergreen options: one with gold stainless steel buckles for the 41mm Watch and one with hazelnut buckles for the 45mm Watch. Each strap is priced at around $60.

After such a long wait, it's a bit disappointing to see them on the Google Store without much of an announcement, but we knew it was coming. If you've been waiting to get your hands on the Pixel Watch 3 until the strap arrives, now's your chance!

Google's Black Friday sale has significantly reduced the price of the Pixel Watch 3 (45mm, Wi-Fi) to $330 ($70 off) or $400 ($100 off) with cellular connectivity. So you can give the Performance Loop Band the entry it deserves.
