Dice collecting is a popular hobby for Dungeons and Dragons, but few likely have a digital clock.

The Timestop D-20, the Dungeons and Dragons digital watch, offers not only the time, day, and date, but also all the dice-rolling capabilities you need to play board games right from your wrist with the push of a button.

The watch allows for digital dice rolling with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20 or 100 sides, as well as “Advanced Combat” features such as rolling up to 12 dice at once and D20s with advantage or disadvantage (rolling two dice and choosing the higher or lower result respectively). It displays specific icons when the D20 rolls 1 or 20, known as a “critical failure” or “critical success” in D&D.
“We wanted a discreet look so you could wear it to the office and take the game with you,” Timestop says in its blog describing the design process. “We also included day and date displays with a perpetual calendar so it’s still a practical watch.”

It starts at $99 and comes in three colors: black, orange, and stainless steel. Shipping begins next year, with products expected to be available in January or February.
The Timestop D-20 doesn’t have an alarm clock, because “they’re not fun,” according to its creator. However, it is water-resistant, has a backlit LCD , and uses a replaceable coin-cell battery that can last up to three years with “typical use.” We don’t know how many fireball rolls are allowed, but it certainly offers a more unique way to play than traditional dice or digital rolling apps.
