3 new cars added this month
Audi R8 Coupe V10 plus '16
The 2nd generation of Audi's road-going sports car that shares the name of the Le Mans winner R8.
Originally a Le Mans Prototype race car, the name and technology from the “R8” were carried over to create the R8 road car that debuted in 2006. The car was met with worldwide critical acclaim and a second generation model was introduced in 2016. While this new model retains the vehicle’s core components, it uses new versions of the lightweight Audi Space Frame made with lightweight materials, and their “quattro” full-time all-wheel drive system.
While it is aesthetically similar to its predecessor in many ways, almost all of its exterior details are completely different. Following on from the previous model, the engine is a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10. However, even the new base R8 model produces 532.5 horsepower, which is an improvement of 14.8 horsepower over its predecessor. The new range also includes the high-performance “R8 V10 Plus” model that tunes the same engine to 601.6 horsepower and adds a fixed rear spoiler and mechanical LSD as standard.

Lamborghini Urus '18
Lamborghini's answer to the global SUV boom.
Introduced in 2018 in response to the global SUV boom, the Urus is a “Super SUV” from the renowned supercar manufacturer Lamborghini. With a sharp-edged design and a design reminiscent of mid-engine models from the same generation of Lamborghinis, the car is based on a specially tuned version of the platform used in other full-size SUVs from the Volkswagen Group. Mounted at the front is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the first ever turbocharged engine in a Lamborghini, producing 641 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. The drivetrain is a full-time 4WD with a 40:60 front-to-rear distribution as the default, which can be adjusted from 70:30 to 13:87 depending on the situation.
Additionally, the car features adjustable air suspension, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring to provide the type of handling and cornering response befitting a supercar SUV. It also features optional off-road and desert driving modes. Its ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, from 0-200 km/h in 12.8 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h made it a real contender for the title of the fastest SUV in the world upon its introduction.

Toyota GT-One (TS020) '99
Toyota's endurance racing car that achieved a class victory at Le Mans in 1999.
In the early 1990s, Toyota set out to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans with its TS010 Group C racer. Several unsuccessful years followed, but the company would return for the 1998 season with the Toyota GT-One (TS020). During its Group C racing days, Toyota developed its race cars almost exclusively in Japan. However, they would revise their plans and entrust this task to the team responsible for their World Rally Championship activities, the German team TTE (Toyota Team Europe), to once again win the overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The new Le Mans car, the GT-One, was designed by Andre De Cortanze, a racing car genius with an illustrious track record in top motorsport events including F1, Le Mans and the WRC. De Cortanze designed the Peugeot 905B, Peugeot’s first Group C car to win Le Mans in 1992 and 1993, and incorporated the latest F1 technology into the design of the Le Mans GT-One car. The carbon composite body was developed for aerodynamic efficiency, and featured the same 3.6 L two-stroke V8 that the company had developed during its Group C days. The suspension featured extra-long wishbones both front and rear, allowing for ideal suspension geometry.
