The Google Play Store in its latest update adds a new option that will allow users to uninstall apps from other Android devices remotely.

As described in thechangelog for Google System Updates, the Google Play Store is in the process of rolling out a new option to uninstall apps from “other connected” Android devices. Google says it will soon be supported across all Android devices (Auto, PC, Phone, TV, and Wear).
To expand more on how this all works, TheSpAndroid was able to enable the feature and share screenshots of the process. With the Google Play Store update to version 38.8 (which hasn’t yet been widely released), Google’s new remote uninstall option is hidden under the surface. After enabling the feature, the “Manage Apps” section of the Google Play Store can display apps that are installed on a different Android device than the one you’re currently using, and the app can then be uninstalled from the other device through that interface, as seen below.

Note that this currently only works using the checkbox to select apps to uninstall. When selecting the uninstall option, an interface appears showing the connected devices where the app is currently installed.

Also interesting is that this feature allows you to sort the list of apps installed on your other devices according to storage, which could be useful when removing apps from, for example, a Google TV.
It's unclear when this feature will be widely available, but hopefully it won't be too long.
