Baldur 's Gate 3 presents players a dilemma, leading them down a path of good or evil, depending on their choices.
They can either join Halsin and take down the Goblin Camp, saving all the trapped Tieflings from exile and imminent death, or they can go on the rampage themselves, allying with Minthara to attack the Grove with the Goblin army

It is one of those rare players of Baldur’s Gate 3 who are not satisfied with the outcome. User ZookeepergameDeep360 shared on the game's subreddit an enriched story, in which he managed to recruit Minthara to his team in an impressively complex way, thus ensuring the survival of the Tieflings, without using any mod.
First of all, it should be noted that this method requires a lot of testing and tweaking, which means you'll need to save your game regularly if you don't want to lose all your progress. To get started, you'll need to attack and deal with Minthara, resolve the Goblin Crisis, and then rest. This will lead Minthara to despair as she realizes she's failed mission .
Then, head to the East of the Moon Towers and open the teleporter to bring Minthara with you. Since only your companions can use the teleporters, you'll need to use Polymorph to transform Minthara into a sheep, and then use a different character to apply Dominate Beast to make her your companion. You'll then need to use Improvised Weapon to transport the sheep to Ketheric's room, where the normal events leading up to her recruitment will follow.
However, Minthara is still imprisoned, so you'll need to split your team in two. Have half of the team wait in the prison room where she's been imprisoned since her encounter with Ketheric. You'll then need to push Minthara, who is now probably in form , into a fight to make sure she doesn't escape. Free her, then talk to your interrogators and stop Minthara's interrogation, protecting her and then recruiting her normally.

If you can manage all of this, then you can obtain Minthara without the burden of guilt. Just know that this was a mistake, as Larian did not intend for you to have Halsin and Minthara in the same party and you may encounter problems in the future. However, is it worth the effort to try for Minthara?
