Android 14 is on its way, but there are still plenty of devices in the world that are still waiting to get an update to Android 12. OnePlus has been ramping up its software rollout plan lately—however, that’s different for carrier versions. OnePlus 7T owners on T-Mobile have been eagerly awaiting Android 12 since OxygenOS 12 first debuted on the unlocked model back in October. According to the release changelog, the OxygenOS 12 build comes with the usual visual revisions to the OxygenOS interface, the two-month December 2022 security updates, and everything that comes with the underlying Android 12 operating system. It's a large download of almost 4GB (labeled HD1907_11_F.03), so you might need to make some space on your phone if you've loaded it up with apps and personal data.

Despite the hesitation to bring Android 12 to the T-Mobile version of the OnePlus 7 and 7T, given that they were removed from the software update, OxygenOS 12 is proving to be a welcome upgrade. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for its counterpart – the OnePlus 7 Pro – which may not receive an Android 12 upgrade after all. According to a “Community Manager” on the T-Mobile forum, there could still be hope for future updates– especially for the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren model.
