Omnic Revolution Season 2 not only introduces Ramattra , the new tank hero, and the Shambali Monastery Escort map , but Blizzard Entertainment is also implementing some critical balancing changes.
According to a blog post on Blizzard, the character Sojourn will be getting damage balance. This is important because Sojourn dominates the competitive scene with high skill, but still manages to remain a challenge for players without great mechanical skills.

On December 6th, when the new season begins, Doomfist will undergo some significant changes to better reflect his role as the team's tank. However, Blizzard Entertainment has not yet revealed what those changes are. Along with Ana, Bastion, Junker Queen, Kiriko, Mercy, and Symmetra, who will also be adjusting during that time.
Overwatch 2 will get new map options next month! Rialto, Blizzard World, and the new Shambali Monastery map will be rotated. Oasis and Nepal will also appear “at different times of day,” while Hollywood and Watchpoint: Gibraltar will be retired.
Three special events will take place in Season 2. The Winter Wonderland will take place from December 13 to January 4, and the Lunar New Year event will take place from January 17 to February 1.
During each in-game event, players will have the opportunity to earn special skins, such as the “Epic Ice Queen Brigitte”, the “Legendary Winged Victory Mercy” , and the “Legendary Kkachi Echo”.
Battle for Olympus , the new limited-time event for Overwatch 2 Season 2 , will take place from January 5 to 19, 2023, on the game's Ilios map . The trailer doesn't give away many details, but it shows Junker Queen summoning lightning bolts that destroy opponents. The game's second battle pass will include new skins themed after Greek gods, including Roadhog (Cyclops), Ramattra (Poseidon), Lúcio (Hermes), Widowmaker (Medusa), Reinhardt (Minotaur), and Pharah (Hades). Junker Queen 's new mythical skin is likely the reward at the end of the battle pass, just like Genji received the Cyber Demon skin at the end of Season 1.
