Medical device interference

Apple also warns against using its technology around any medical devices that could be negatively affected by the iPhone.

iPhone and MagSafe accessories contain magnets and can emit electromagnetic fields that interfere with certain devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.

Apple says: “Consult doctor and the manufacturer of your medical device for information about your medical device and whether you should maintain a safe separation distance between your medical device and iPhone and MagSafe.”

Manufacturers often provide recommendations for the safe use of their devices around wireless or magnetic products to avoid potential interference.

“If you suspect that iPhone and MagSafe accessories are affecting your medical device, stop using these products.”

Apple also wants to emphasize that your iPhone should not be considered a medical device in itself and you should not use it to diagnose or treat yourself .

If you have any medical condition or experience symptoms that you think could be affected by iPhone or the flashing lights (for example, seizures, blackouts, eyestrain, or headaches), consult your doctor before using iPhone.
