Microsoft Edge extensions can add a variety of new features that make the browser even more useful. However, sometimes you may have installed too many extensions, or even extensions that you no longer need. In that case, it's easy to uninstall or remove them if you wish. To do this, you'll need to follow a few simple steps.

The first step you need to take is to open Microsoft Edge. Then, click on the three dots in any window and select “Extensions” from the menu that appears.

On the “Extensions” tab , you’ll see a list of every Edge extension you have installed. Locate the entry for the extension you want to remove or uninstall.

If you want to temporarily disable the extension, flip the switch next to it.

However, if you ever want to re-enable the extension, you just need to go back to the “Extensions” tab and flip the switch from the “off” position to the “on” position .

Also, if you want to permanently remove an extension, click the “Remove” located just below the description .

After clicking the “Remove”, you will see a confirmation pop-up window . Click “Remove”.

This will completely remove the extension and a pop-up message saying “Extension removed.” You can either ignore it or dismiss it with the “X”.

Alternatively, you can quickly remove an extension from Edge if you see icon in the toolbar. Right-click the icon and select “Remove from Microsoft Edge” from the pop-up menu.

Then, click the “Remove” on the pop-up confirmation and the extension will be uninstalled.

If you need to reinstall the extension, you should visit the “Edge Extensions” in the Microsoft Store, which you can also access through the “Extensions”.
