According to IBM, using a Mac has many benefits at work. Its research showed that there are 22% more macOS users who exceed expectations on performance assessments compared to Windows users. Mac users also close more high-value sales deals (16% more).
"Our goal is to create a productive environment for IBMers and improve their work experience," said Fletcher Previn, IBM's CIO. That's why the company has given employees the ability to choose devices .
The results of the survey show that IBM Mac users are in a better position than the rest. In addition to the better performance, mentioned above, Mac users are 17% less likely to leave IBM than employees who use Windows computers. Today, the company has 200,000 Mac devices, which are supported by seven engineers. In contrast, 200,000 Windows devices require 20 engineers.
