Israeli company Cellebrite, known primarily for its iPhone hacking apps that work with governments worldwide, claims to have developed new software that can "crack" any phone running iOS or Android.
The company used Twitter to advertise its latest app, and says it can recover any information stored on iPhones or Android devices, as well as data stored in third-party apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, and many others.

Information published on the company's website reveals that Cellebrite can also access data that has already been deleted from any phone or even recover information from damaged devices.
“Bypass the lock and perform a full system file extraction on any iOS device or a physical file system extraction (encrypted root files) on many high-end Android devices,” Cellebrite says.
"Access third-party app data, conversations, emails and attachments, deleted content, and more, increasing your chances of finding incriminating evidence.".
Cellebrite, which emphasizes that its offering is only aimed at governments trying to unlock devices used by criminals or terrorists, says its app works flawlessly with Apple devices running iOS 7 through iOS 12.3, as well as the majority of high-end Android devices made by Samsung, Huawei, LG, Xiaomi and Motorola.

The Israeli company argues that its applications should not fall into the wrong hands, to protect against exploits, since smartphone manufacturers would try to patch security gaps.
Apple has already tried to address Cellebrite's hacking products with numerous iOS updates, including a new feature that blocks USB connection time on locked iPhones.
It is worth recalling that the hacking company had been a victim of hacking in 2017.
