uTorrent Web: In an earlier post , we reported that BitTorrent Inc, the company that invented the peer-to-peer protocol and develops uTorrent, will be sold to entrepreneur Justin Sun.
According to TechCrunch, Sun agreed to pay $140 million in January 2018 and signed a letter of intent to acquire the company.
Today, after the events mentioned above, we received an email from the company informing us of the availability of a web application.
Yes, uTorrent Web is a fact. It comes in 4 different versions, three of which are paid. There is of course a basic version that is free, but you should probably expect ads.
As you can see in the image above, there are PRO+VPN packages for $70, simple PRO for $20, no ads for $5, and of course the basic one is free.
For those interested in trying the web application, they can do so from official page.
