Anti-WebMiner is a free portable program for Windows devices. The application comes to add additional protection to the system from various scripts used by websites and aimed at mining cryptocurrency.
Web mining of cryptocurrencies, as mentioned above, is carried out through the browser, and the scripts that assist it are usually in the form of JavaScript that is executed by various websites. 
While no one should be against web-mining, the user should clearly have the option of using the GPU if the computer's resources will contribute.
So if a website asks for the end user's permission to do so, there's no need to worry. The issue is if it does so without asking for permission..
This is where Anti-WebMiner comes in, which is a simple program for Windows that you can run to block known mining websites using the operating system's Hosts file.
Basically, what the program does is redirect known websites that contain mining scripts, so that the scripts cannot be loaded.
The application displays an install button. When you click it, the application will add the domains to the Windows Hosts file.
Anti-WebMiner also has an uninstall button, which with one click will clean the hosts file it previously tampered with.
Of course, instead of "installing" the application, you can always add the domains yourself to your system's Hosts file.
