The well-known Korean technology company, Samsung, has announced that it will finally release its Galaxy Fold smartphone next September.
It was first announced at an Unpacked event in February and the smartphone's initial release date was at least for the United States on April 26th.

However, this never happened. Some problems and defects were observed in the control units and after reports, Samsung decided to cancel its global release indefinitely.
The company is now ready to ship the Samsung Galaxy Fold for release, following improvements and testing. The company has now extended the top protective layer of the flexible display beyond the bezel to make it clear that it is part of the structure and should not be removed. This is because, before the improvements , reviewers of the smartphone were unaware of the protective layer and in their attempts to remove it, they succeeded.
For added security, metal layers have been added under the screen. The device has been reinforced, with additional protective covers on the top and bottom of the hinge. Optimizations have also been made to the Samsung Galaxy Fold in terms of applications and unique services . The amount of harmful blue light emitted by the device has been reduced to 7% without affecting other colors.

It is currently undergoing final testing to launch in September, but in select stores. It is not yet known where and when the smartphone will be sold first, but details will be announced in due course.
And while all of this sounds great and the smartphone's launch is generating interest, the question being asked by critics and would-be buyers is this: The Samsung Galaxy Fold is almost ready for release, but would you buy it after the initial fiasco?
