With the message "All together for a safer Internet"
The Annual Session of the General Assembly of the International Institute for Cybersecurity (CSI Institute) was held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the headquarters of the CSI Institute

With the main message “All together for a safer Internet”, the Annual General Meeting of the International Cybersecurity Institute (CSII) concluded at the offices of the CSI Institute (CSIi). The President of the General Meeting and Founder of the Institute, Mr. Emmanuel Sfakianakis, coordinated the Meeting and welcomed the members of the General Meeting.
In his speech, the President of CSIi presented the Activity Report for the years 2018 and 2019. He also informed the members of the General Assembly about the results of the actions and about the upcoming collaborations of CSIi with Google, the National Olympic Academy and All Together We Can in the context of developing the strategy for the extroversion of the Foundation.

As Mr. Sfakianakis characteristically emphasized, "CSIi is today at the point where its major action to combat technological illiteracy and provide valid information and prevention about the dangers posed by the Internet is in full swing."
"During the years 2018-2019, with a continuous presence even in the most remote parts of Greece, over 400,000 of our throughout the country and internationally saw us, listened to us, commented on us in person, but also online."

"The Institute's upward trajectory and success," he pointed out, "is based on the love of the people and the dedication and goodwill of our volunteers, who daily support our actions, which have as their main concern the adoption of a healthy digital culture for every citizen, regardless of age.
"The Institute's dynamic course continues. The conferences are expanding throughout Greece and internationally with conferences already planned abroad for September, collaborations with world-renowned organizations, new actions with an impact on the global community and a large network of volunteers and scientific collaborators," he added.

Of particular importance was the presentation by the Secretary General of the CSI Institute and CEO of the Athens Medical Group, Dr. Vasilis Apostolopoulos, who stated, among other things, that the International Institute for Cybersecurity is now an important development lever for the promotion of the digital society and that all Greek citizens have the right to participate, provided that they first receive the correct and valid information on safe Internet navigation and the management of individual online risks and threats. In this context, as Mr. Apostolopoulos emphasized, universal participation in the actions of the CSI Institute and their establishment in institutions is considered essential and is something that the state must take seriously for the protection and well-being of all our Greek fellow citizens.
