ZTE Axon 10 Pro, Axon 10 Pro 5G, Blade A7: Price and specifications

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G was first announced at MWC 2019 earlier this year. ZTE has officially launched the 5G flagship in China, alongside a non-5G version, simply called the ZTE Axon 10 Pro. Both phones have the same design and share the same core internal hardware, such as the Snapdragon 855 and triple cameras, among others, with the exception of 5G support. The company has also announced the launch of the ZTE Blade A7, which features a single rear camera and a waterdrop notch. The affordable phone comes in three color options and two storage variants.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro launched in China with a total of three storage variants. The base version 6GB RAM + 128GB is priced at 3,199 CNY (approximately 32,700 Rs), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB version comes at a price of 3,699 CNY (approximately 37,900 Rs). The top ZTE Axon 10 Pro version with 12GB RAM and integrated storage of 256GB is available for CNY 4,199 (approximately 43,000 Rs).

The phone is now available for purchase from leading Chinese e-commerce platforms such as JD.com. As for the ZTE Axon Pro 5G, the company has not revealed its pricing. ZTE's official website says that the ZTE Axon Pro 5G will be available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB. ZTE is expected to get the 5G support license from China's regulators before the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G can be released. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro and its 5G variant come in one color option that appears to be a changing shade of blue.

As for the ZTE Blade A7, it is now available from JD.com at a price of 599 CNY (approximately R, 6,100) for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage version and CNY 699 (approximately Rs.7,100) for the 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version. The ZTE Blade A7 can be purchased in Sea Blue, Night Black and Star Black color options and is expected to launch on May 17.

The specifications of the ZTE Axon 10 Pro, Axon 10 Pro 5G

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro and its 5G variant run Android Pie and feature a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a teardrop-shaped notch. The phones are powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC combined with at least 6 GB RAM.

Regarding shooting capabilities, ZTE's flagships feature a triple rear-camera system, consisting of a primary 48-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture. It is supported by a 20-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a 125° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, accompanied by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is 20-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro and the Axon 10 Pro 5G feature top-tier internal storage of 256GB, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. Speaking of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0 and DTS: X Ultra, while authentication is handled by a fingerprint sensor on the display.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with wireless charging support and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology. The dimensions of the phone are 159.2×73.4×7.9 mm. As for the features, it supports 3x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, AI snapshot, night noise cancellation and super night shots among others.

The specifications of the ZTE Blade A7

The ZTE Blade A7 features a 6‑inch In‑Cell TFT display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. It is powered by the octa‑core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC paired with up to 3 GB of RAM. The most affordable device includes a 16‑megapixel rear camera and a 5‑megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The ZTE Blade A7 comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The connectivity options include 4G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Micro‑USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The affordable ZTE offering comes equipped with a 3,200 mAh battery. The phone's dimensions are 154×72.8×7.9 mm.
