The countdown to Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) is now in its final stages, as pre-orders for the most anticipated video game are expected to begin in the coming hours. Just before the order book officially opens, Rockstar Games has made a series of important announcements, revealing new details about the game's editions, pricing, and release date.

Physical editions are abandoning the disc
Perhaps the biggest surprise concerns the retail versions of the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.According to Rockstar Games, the Grand Theft Auto VI packaging will not include a physical disc.
