Cloudflare has just announced a new free VPN service, which will be available in the latest update to its mobile app (this is the app [and DNS resolver service, which has the same name], that the company has been working on intensively lately).
The service is offered for free, unless someone wants to add extra functions or features, in which case they will have to pay for them. The service promises faster Internet access.
The company had begun preparing for the creation of the VPN service as early as 2017.
The new VPN is called WARP and its goal is, as mentioned above, faster Internet and faster browsing without reducing Internet speed. In addition to this VPN, however, the company will also launch another service, which also aims to make mobile internet faster and more secure.
And the second service is essentially a VPN, it's called WARP+ and offers even more enhanced speeds. For this purpose, it uses Argo Smart Routing.
The two VPNs do not change your digital location, as according to Cloudflare this reduces speeds.
The new VPN will be very useful for both people with slow connections and people who are traveling. In the first category it will be useful because [the VPN] has the ability to compress data to offer faster speeds and in the second category because it helps to find the lost signal quite quickly. It is common when we travel to lose connection all the time.
The two VPNs will be available in the updated version of the mobile app.
