After the launch of the Redmi Note 7 in China, Xiaomi has been dropping hints about its launch in India as well. In fact, there is now an official date.
The Redmi Note 7 will be unveiled at an event scheduled for February 28 in New Delhi, India. The company has already started sending out invites for the event.
The Redmi Note 7 has stood out mainly for its 48MP camera on the rear and the 5MP secondary camera.
On the front, there is a 13MP camera. All three cameras come with support for AI features.
The smartphone features a 6.3-inch display with a water drop notch and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor with Adreno 512 GPU.
The device comes in three RAM/ROM options: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/64GB. However, we don't know yet which variants will be launched in India.
The Redmi Note 7 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a fingerprint scanner, located on the back, and facial recognition.
However, there are no details yet on its price and availability. There is also no information about the Redmi Note 7 Pro variant, which has not been launched in China either.
