Microsoft fixes the most trivial bug of the October 2018 Update

It's no secret that Windows 10 version 1809 (also known as the October 2018 Update) has been one of Microsoft's best releases in a long time.

And in addition to the critical bugs that caused user files to be removed, the update also launched with smaller issues that didn't affect the functionality of the operating system in any way, but were slightly annoying.

One of these was a misalignment issue in the Calculator app that was discovered on Reddit in late December.

Basically, what happened was that some Calculator buttons were not aligned with the others, causing a visual glitch when resizing the window.

And while this is a very minor issue, the fact went viral after a user asked Microsoft to fix the issue, so the latest Windows 10 Fast ring update resolves the issue. As reported by redditor Leopeva64-2, the bug has been fixed in version 10.1812.10048.0. As for why it happened, the issue was described in detail by reddit user jollycode in a discussion.

You can see the old and new versions of Calculator in the GIF below, discovered by the same user who revealed that the issue has been fixed in the fast ring.
