GitHub recently announced Actions, a new tool that makes it possible to automate your workflow combined with a rich set of features, including connecting and sharing assets for software development .
From a technical perspective, GitHub Actions allows you to perform a range of tasks, such as building, packaging, and updating projects, without any code, all by simply automating the process with predefined actions.
GitHub Actions supports all languages and is currently available as a limited public beta – this means you should sign up as soon as possible to try it out, as the company may stop accepting new testers.

Meanwhile, GitHub is awaiting regulatory approval to complete its acquisition by Microsoft. Rumor has it that the European Union has already approved the deal and an announcement on the matter will be made soon.
For those of you who don't know, Microsoft will buy GitHub for $7.5 billion, making it the second largest acquisition the giant has ever made. The first largest acquisition took place last year, for $26 billion, and concerns the social network LinkedIn, which is now owned by Microsoft.
