A future update for Microsoft Office Online will include support for voice dictation, technically allowing users to create documents using just voice commands.
's primary goal Microsoft with this improvement is to help people who suffer from dyslexia. It should be noted that the feature will be offered across the entire Office suite.
The desktop version of Microsoft Word has already received voice dictation support, so Microsoft now plans to make it available everywhere.

Specifically, Word and OneNote will receive voice dictation support in the coming weeks, while PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook are also awaiting the 2019 update. However, we do not have more details about this second part of the release.
Microsoft announced that voice dictation in Office is coming in January, explaining that it is a feature specifically built for students.
Beyond voice dictation, the positive thing about this addition is that no additional add-ins will be needed as this function will be performed correctly within the program.
The rollout of this feature will happen gradually, as Microsoft wants to enable full page and word translations first (in the fall), while phrase translations will be enabled later, without any information on the exact date.
