Apple will unveil three different iPhone models in just a few hours, and one of them is expected to be a more affordable configuration whose name we don't yet know. Until now, that is, we didn't know because the company leaked the names of the new model via code included in its official website's sitemap.
The cheapest iPhone will be called the iPhone XR, not the iPhone XC, as rumors had suggested.
The device will be available in six colors, namely black, white, red, yellow, coral, and blue. Apple will offer three different storage versions, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

While the name doesn't make much sense right now, Apple is expected to announce details about it at the company's press event later today.
One part that is still a mystery to everyone is the device's starting price. So far, there have been many rumors of either a lower price or a higher price, suggesting that Apple itself may not be sure how much to price the iPhone XR.
However, there's a good chance the device will indeed start at $699 in the United States with 64GB of storage. The price could increase as you add more storage, so the 256GB version could approach the starting price of the new iPhone XS (the successor to the iPhone X).
We also need to see if Apple plans to launch this model along with the other two iPhones or delay it a bit.
Rumors say that it will probably be released with a slight delay and while the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max may be on shelves in September, the iPhone XR could be available either in the last week of the month or in early October.
