Apple is planning to create a new streaming service, just like Netflix, HBO, and Hulu. The company has already signed some major high-profile deals, even though the service won't be available for several months yet.

A reference made by Apple itself on the subject is that the service will likely be subscription-based and will be provided in the same package along with access to Apple Music and News, a very interesting fact as current competitors do not provide anything similar.
When Netflix announced its launch a few years ago, it already had a huge range of series and movies, capable of keeping users busy for months. On the contrary, Apple's service has not given similar encouraging data so far, so the combination of the service with another (like Music) is very likely. Amazon is following a similar strategy with Amazon Prime, which provides access to free and fast shipping in all markets, but also gives access to audiovisual material through Prime video. Spotify in turn follows as it is reported that it will soon launch its own video streaming service.
Apple Music has long been available to all iOS users, and will soon be available on macOS. Also a few months ago, the company bought Texture, which is described as the “Netflix of magazines,” which will soon be implemented in the News app.
The conclusion is that with the given plan, and if the information we have is correct, Apple will launch a subscription service that will consist of many smaller ones.
