manufacturers investing in Windows 10 Mobile phones , so it's a big loss when one of the remaining ones decides to abandon the platform and switch to Android.
This is exactly what happened with NuAns, a mobile manufacturing company that was based on Windows phones and was even expected to release a new model in the coming days.
As we had previously reported, NuAns had announced the arrival of a new mobile phone and we all hoped that it would be a Windows 10 smartphone that would help recover from the ongoing collapse of Microsoft's operating system.
However, recent evidence has revealed that it is actually an Android smartphone, and today NuAns itself confirmed it. The company is making the transition from Windows 10 to Android with its new model, and although it has not yet been confirmed whether it intends to return to them in the future, it is considered relatively unlikely if we take into account the large sales opportunity it is given through Android.
NuAns' Neo Reloaded will run on Android 7.1 rather than Windows 10 Mobile as many Microsoft had hoped. It will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, feature a 5.2-inch LCD display, a fingerprint sensor, a 3450mAh battery, and two-tone back covers.
Windows 10 Mobile is not even an alternative option for the new smartphone as it seems that Nuans has finalized its decision. And not without reason of course! Taking a look at the 0.3% market share of Windows phones, this decision by Nuans does not impress us at all.
