Samsung's new Galaxy A 2017 series is here!

Samsung has been introducing several new iterations of its Galaxy A series since early last month, and now it's time for the new mid-range smartphones to make their debut. The Galaxy J5 (2017) has already received Wi-Fi certification , which means it could be announced very soon.Galaxy A Galaxy A Galaxy A

The Galaxy J5 (2017) codenamed SM-J530FM/DS recently received Wi-Fi certification, but its specifications list has not yet been revealed.

A reliable source says that the new smartphone has also been certified to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but it is still too early to know if it will get an update to Android Nougat. The Galaxy J5 (2016) features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, 3,100mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. This year's version will definitely feature improved specifications, at least in terms of RAM capacity.

Many are claiming that the new smartphone could be launched alongside Samsung's Galaxy J3 and J7. The Galaxy J7 was recently spotted in a report running on an Exynos 7870 CPU and featuring only 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of additional internal storage. We don't know if this information is true as previous reports have indicated that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, will run on a Snapdragon 625 SoC processor and will offer 3GB of RAM. It is very likely that these specifications are valid as the Galaxy J7 will be the most powerful model compared to the rest of the series.

Additionally, the J7 (2017) will feature a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front camera while running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
