The “invent ICT” innovative business incubation program aims to help in practice in the development of new knowledge-intensive businesses and in the promotion of original ideas in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and their exploitation in other sectors, as well as Open Technologies.
Indicatively, some thematic areas on which it focuses are: intelligent energy networks (ICT technologies for Smart Grids), mobile applications and sensors, Big Data, data mining and data analytics, smart cities and regions, open technologies, digital services, unified network service management, education and ICT, and security issues of information and telecommunications systems.
Within the framework of the program, extensive personalized consulting support (coaching and mentoring) is offered to the participating groups, in order to shape their business idea and determine the business model for its implementation, while at the same time providing opportunities for networking within and outside Greece.
The advisory support aims to establish specific businesses in the broader field of utilizing information and communication technologies or to develop business cooperation with existing businesses for the utilization of ideas and the transfer of relevant technology.

The Research and Entrepreneurship Interconnection Structure EPI.noo (www.epinoo.gr), created and supported by the Research University Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (EPISEY), inaugurated the development and operation of an intensive incubation program for innovative business schemes entitled “invent ICT”, which is implemented with the support of the Association of Mobile Telephony Companies (EEKT).
