The Wayback Machine is a new extension for the Google Chrome browser that detects page error codes and suggests you access to archived copies of pages that are not working.
It is not uncommon for Internet users to encounter pages that have been deleted, redirected, or are temporarily unavailable.
The most common error is probably the 404 page not found, but there are many other error codes you may encounter (HTTP status codes).
Here comes the Wayback Machine extension, developed to give you access to over 279 billion web pages, and the number is growing.
The extension detects error codes (404, 408, 410, 451, 500, 502, 503, 504, 509, 520, 521, 523, 524, 525, and 526) and will suggest loading an archived version of the page you want to view if it doesn't work.
Of course the extension works with the Internet Archive
